Tata Institute of Social Sciences conducts TISSNET 2021 which is a national level post graduate entrance exam. The exam is conducted for admissions to Masters in Social Work and related programs offered by Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS). TISSNET scores are accepted only by TISS Mumbai only. TISSNET 2021 will be conducted in online mode on January, 2021, and the results for shortlisted candidates will be announced on January, 2021.

TISSNET 2021 Eligibility Criteria
The application process was both online and offline, where eligible candidates can apply for a maximum of three programmes across any two of the TISS Campuses and other locations.
The application fee to be paid by general category candidates for one programme was Rs 1030/-, and for SC/ST/OBC candidates was Rs 260/-
The exam will be conducted on Jan 7 from 2pm to 3.40 pm in 39 centers. The test was a computer based test which had 100 objective questions to be answered within the duration of 1 hour 40 minutes & there was no negative marking for wrong answers in the test.

Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) offers programmes with low fee structure. The final admission to TISS for different programmes happens in two stages and has three components of assessment. Out of the candidates who appear for the National entrance test (TISSNET), only short listed candidates are called for the Pre Interview Test and Personal Interview.(PIT/PI) based on the performance in the TISSNET examination.
